THE FUTURE OF AGRICULTURE RELIES ON ONE THING: INFORMATION

DATA AND ANALYTICS ARE QUICKLY BECOMING THE NEW CURRENCY IN BOTH CROP ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT.

Our advanced aerial intelligence solutions simplify the collection and analysis of geospatial data, allowing agricultural (re)insurers to make more informed and faster decisions. This ultimately results in both improved underwriting performance and greater farmer satisfaction. We translate this imagery into actionable intelligence to inform your underwriting decisions.

James Rendell

Founder / CEO

James Rendell began his career in reinsurance broking in the City of London. Whilst working within the Lloyd's market he spotted the structural issues embedded within the crop (re)insurance market and the potential for parametric insurance solutions.

In 2019 James founded BirdsEyeView Technologies with the belief that by harnessing cutting-edge technology and analytics we could transform the livelihoods of farmers globally by revolutionising the way we think about crop insurance. His vision is that purchasing crop insurance should be no more difficult than buying your home or car insurance. BirdsEyeView provides the tools to do this.  He holds a Masters in Geography from The University of Edinburgh and CII Cert. in Insurance.
